About Me....

New LinkedIn Banner.jpg

I’ve been described as “a creative suit who still has calluses on his hands.” Over 25 years, I’ve led teams and programs that combine strategy with execution while earning trust at the C-suite and executive level. My work doesn’t define me, but who I am as a person influences my work: strong work ethic, integrity, loyalty, importance of family and I really care…so much my superpower answer is “Super Caring.”

I guide brand and team paths with a strategic eye, uncover hidden market and business opportunities, and translate insights into measurable growth. I like to think of long-time clients and connections as friends. Many who have worked under me have gone on to executive careers, and I’m proud to have given them a strong foundation in marketing. I stay actively engaged in learning even at this point in my career. I attend trade shows in diverse industries, consistently expand my executive network, and look to spot emerging trends often before the public or even influencers catch on.

Outside of work, my wife and I stay active. We might ride 60 miles on bicycles just for cookies and coffee, and we love to take short trips to see new places. My wife is European, has lived around the world, and speaks several languages. I now share her thirst to see the world; highly recommend Guatemala, a recent trip for us: beautiful, friendly, inexpensive, lots of coffee, and perfect for an active lifestyle. I still believe that a smile and a positive attitude are contagious, and my leadership style is to inspire others to navigate any terrain by showing them their efforts truly make a difference.

At the office or consulting, I bring strong work ethic, valuable industry connections, and a talent for inspiring teams to overcome challenges and achieve success. I combine strategy, execution, and a network of relationships to deliver impact in a way that’s human, engaging, and yes, even fun. That’s me…still with the calluses, more from activity than work, still creative while embracing tech, and while I don’t really wear suits anymore, they still fit.

Bonus: For those interested, sharing something I wrote a long time ago that many can relate to:

"I speak and no one listens

I shout & no one notices

Surrounded by friends and loved ones, yet, still alone

I write & I have my own audience

Free for the fleeting moments where I am with my thoughts, I land...still alone

I choose my audience & I write

My mind paints brilliant colors, unspoken words appear at my fingertips

Do I feel empty thoughts?

Do I write empty words?

Do I reach out for an empty heart?

Familiar questions, forgotten answers

I whisper & I am heard "
